" ...Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." Matthew 22: 37-39
I purchased this cute skirt from Goodwill several weeks ago and just now got around to wearing it. I love it! I love how you can dress it up, like I've done here, or dress it down. I decided to create a whole outfit around it for church this evening and I did just that!
I thought that this adorable peplum top looked so cute with this skirt since it tightens at the waist and flares out. It helps to balance the flowy skirt. If I had worn a loose fitting top combined with this flowy skirt, I would be drowning in material. I'm not gonna lie, sometimes I like that look. It can be comfy and cute at the same time. Today, I just stuck with the "rules" of wearing tight things with flowy things. Does that make sense? Fashion is fun. Wear things exactly how you like! If you like to wear neon pink from head to toe, then girl, you do it! I have bought things that my family was like, "Uh...do you really like that? I don't like it." Haha Fashion is all just personal preference. Have fun with it! I will wear something regardless of whether someone else likes it or not.
I threw on this cute and cozy cropped cardigan to bring out the red/maroon color in my skirt. I added this gorgeous black scarf for some extra warmth. I love the lace fringe at the bottom of it. So cute!
I hope you all have a fabulous week coming up! As always, thank you so much for taking the time to read my little blog!
