Plus Size OOTD: A Blue Cranberry

Happy Sunday!

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved." -John 3:16-17

It's been such a long time since I've made a blog post. Wow. With work and everything going on, I haven't really made the time to take nice pictures, edit them and post them. It was just something that got put on the back burner for quite a while.

I am off of work today so I was able to go to the morning church service. It was really nice. We had a guest missionary come and talk to us about his burden for the people in Israel. It was really eye opening.

I wanted to be comfortable but put together at the same time. Let's face it. I'm exhausted from work and I want something cute but easy to wear. I don't want it to be something I'm going to be pulling and tugging on.

I've worn this skirt several times before and I still love it. I purchased it from Cato a few years ago when it was on clearance. It gives off that amazing bohemian vibe and I can wear so many things with it. It's definitely my jam! ;)

In my opinion this whole outfit has a slight bohemian feel to it which I really love. You can dress it up a tiny bit like I've done here or make it really casual and dress it down. Jewelry always steps things up a notch and those earrings I'm wearing really helped bring that extra bohemian touch.

I hope you are all doing well and staying comfortable, but fashionable!

Plus Size OOTD: Suppose She's A Wildflower?

I'm back at it with the kimonos! I've bragged about their versatility and comfort until I'm blue in the face. If you are hot natured and need something stylish but fun for the summer, please pick up a kimono! They sell some really beautiful cheap ones at Walmart. Links to a few of my favorite kimonos that I've seen around Walmart can be found herehere, and here.

While at Walmart, I also saw this pair of bright, tassel earrings. I absolutely love them. They add such an awesome statement piece to your outfit. Since I went bold for the earrings, I kept it simple with a silver beaded necklace that someone gave me as a gift.

I couldn't carry just a plain black purse with this bright outfit, of course, so I opted for this bright fuchsia/purpley one. I love it so much. I actually purchased it at K-Mart a few years ago.

This post really seems like it's sponsored by Walmart but I promise it isn't! They don't even know who I am. :) I just shop there quite a bit.

I can't wait until it's Autumn again! Bring on some sweaters and bonfires!

Plus Size OOTD: Summertime Sadness

These hot summer days require plenty of kimonos and sandals. You feel me?

I purchased this kimono at Walmart quite a while ago. It's actually a bathing suit cover-up. I just cut the ties off and it looks like a regular kimono. I could wear one of these babies every single day and be totally and completely fine with that. It's definitely one of my summer essentials.

I layered a few necklaces to give off a bohemian vibe along with toting around my fringed bag. I love this bag. It goes with everything. It turns a regular outfit into something a little more put together.

What's your favorite thing to wear during the summer months?

Happy Sunday!

"So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." -Romans 10:17

It was such a gorgeous day today! The sky was the most brilliant shade of blue and everything seemed so lush and green. God really did amazing when he made this world. :)

I was really wanting to wear this top that I purchased quite a while ago. I love the sleeves of course. The tomato red color is really beautiful as well. It's such a summer color. I love it. I thought it paired pretty nicely with this skirt that I got on clearance at Cato a year ago. I love that you can wear several different colored tops with it. It makes it a very versatile skirt.

I hope you have had a fabulous day wherever you are!
