Plus Size OOTD: Coffee Shop Dreams

When I put this outfit together, I didn't realize that I looked like someone who would go to a local coffee shop and read while contemplating life's biggest questions. I really dig it though! I could see myself sitting in a little cafe sipping on a latte. That actually sounds amazing right now. ;)

It was pretty chilly today, so I decided to layer. Layering is one of my very favorite  things to do. It changes up your entire look. I started from the basics--just jeggings and a black tee. I layered on a beige and black striped button up, suede fringed vest, and topped it all of with a Frank Sinatra-esque hat. This look was so fun to create!

What are your favorite pieces to layer with in the winter?

Plus Size OOTD: Why Do Fools Fall In Love?

I love the way this outfit turned out! I was working on Valentine's Day, so I didn't get to dress up and look all put-together. I love putting makeup on and getting dressed. It's so much fun to just take your time to get all dolled up.

I decided to throw on my lace cardigan over my pink top. It gave it a cute, girly vibe. Over that, I threw on a cute blazer with a ruffle at the end of the arms. I thought it changed the vibe to an almost Victorian style. What do you think?

Since I'm me, I had to throw in a pattern somewhere, so I chose to top the whole look off with this adorable polka dotted scarf.

I hope you are all having an amazing day! Thank you for reading!

Plus Size OOTD: Berried Burgundy

I'd like to apologize for the quality of these photos, first of all. I had them taken with my phone because I was in a pinch! ;)

I was off of work yesterday, so I made plans to go thrift shopping with my Grandma! I absolutely love thrift shopping. It's one of my very favorite things to do. I wanted to be comfortable, weather appropriate, and cute at the same time, so I came up with this little number.

I've been wanting to wear my gorgeous burgundy floppy hat for the longest time, so I decided to create my whole look around it. I purchased it at Cato on clearance. I adore the little pom pom on it. So cute! I kept the look weather appropriate by throwing a cardigan and scarf on over my top. Adding the scarf really ended up pulling the whole look together in my opinion.

Are you into floppy hats? Any kind of hats? :)

Plus Size OOTD: It's Not Easy Being Blue

This dress is so comfy! I purchased it at Christopher & Banks a couple of weeks ago on clearance. I love how light and versatile it is. It's so breezy that I can wear it in the summer months as well. I adore pieces that you can wear over and over and pair it with so many different things. You could throw a skirt over it and wear it like a top. You could throw a top on over the dress and turn it into a skirt. The possibilities are endless!

This outfit is pretty blue which happened to fit the weather yesterday! It was dark and rainy outside. I thought it worked pretty well to wear to Bible Study last night. :)

What's the weather like where you are?
