Plus Size OOTD: Mosaic Maxi

I wore this breezy outfit on Bible Study night.

It has been getting hotter and hotter, so I felt that a light skirt was appropriate. I absolutely love it! I purchased it at Cato quite a while ago on clearance for $10 if I'm thinking right. I like the unique, mosaic look it has going on. Maxi skirts in particular are pretty much what I will live in most of the time in the summer months. They slip right on and look like you've tried a lot harder than you actually did. This outfit is super simple, but the skirt really brings everything to life. Purchasing patterned/printed maxi skirts is a trick of mine. Especially if you choose one that has multiple colors going throughout. That way, you have more tops to choose from. It's so awesome being a woman! ;)

I threw on a pair of statement earrings and a statement necklace. I love jewelry so much! It can also help you to transform an otherwise plain looking outfit. Statement pieces in particular add interest and pops of fun color!
