It's hard to be a woman. We're all expected to look presentable, yet stylish and dressed for the occasion perfectly. I struggle deciding how to go run errands during the day and then go out to a restaurant to enjoy time with my family. It's hard to quickly decide what to wear in a manner of minutes. That's why I am showing you how you can easily transition one pair of pants from day to night. It's really simple! With a few tips, it will be smooth sailing!
There are so many different kinds of pants out there. There are straight-legged, boot cut, petite, skinny, you name it! With enough searching, you can find the one that is perfect for you. You can check out some of Betabrand's awesome pair of pants! They all look super comfortable and are very similar to the ones I'm wearing today! Happy shopping!
Look One: For this first look, I wanted to wear these super comfortable pants that I purchased a while ago from Walmart. They move and stretch when I bend and I can do anything I please in them. This makes them perfect for running errands, shopping, grabbing coffee, or anything else that requires you to move during the day.
I kept it simple and appropriate for running around by wearing one of my favorite black tops with my comfortable flats, and a simple beaded necklace. In hot weather like this, the less jewelry, sometimes the better! I topped my look off with this adorable jean backpack that keeps me hands free as I do all my running around. I kept everything simple and laid back. I threw on a no-fuss lip color and called it good!
Look Two: When plans change, depending on where you're headed, clothing will change. You're tired, you're under dressed, and your family calls and wants to go to dinner in five minutes. What do you do?! You're running out of time. You need to make yourself look more presentable and appropriate for the night time with no fuss.
All I did was make a few simple changes. I kept the same shirt and pants. I threw on a pair of strappy wedges in place of the flats. I threw on a statement necklace and ring to replace the brown beaded necklace. Adding statement jewelry can really make your once casual outfit look dressy. I carried this gorgeous, vintage clutch to add more sparkle. I grabbed my crisp, white blazer and threw that over the same shirt I wore before. All I did to top it off was put on some red lipstick! Boom! You instantly look polished and ready for the occasion! Throwing on a red lip really makes you look more put-together than you actually are. ;)
How do you transition your favorite pants from Day to Night? Let me know!
