Style Steal: Merrick's Art

Today, I decided to do some Style Stealing for the blog and I went with one of my favorite lifestyle bloggers, Merrick from Merrick's Art. Please check out her blog! Click HERE to check it out! Something I love about her blog, is that it is full of wonderful pictures of fashion inspiration. She seems like such a kind person and I know you would love her!

I was looking at my Pinterest this morning and realized that I had very similar pieces to what she was wearing. I thought that if she could pull it off, so could I! Well, I definitely don't pull it off near as well as she does, but I had fun nonetheless. That's what fashion is about anyways--being creative and thinking outside the box. Plus Size OOTD: A Leopard's Burnt (Style Steal)

Hey, guys!

Today's outfit was for tonight's Wednesday night service. I was looking at my Fall/Winter church fashion board on Pinterest, and I came across this outfit from a blogger that I thought was really cute, so I decided to recreate it from things out of my own wardrobe! I thought it was super fun and I'm definitely doing it again because I felt very confident in this outfit. I wouldn't have thought of wearing a burnt orange overshirt with leopard print. I love it!

OOTD: Style Steal: Wednesday Service

Who here has Pinterest? Anyone? I LOVE it. You can follow me on Pinterest HERE! 

One of the things I really like looking at on Pinterest is all of the fashion. Yes, yes. I'm a total girl! I like to recreate looks that I see that I like. That's what I've done for today's OOTD. (Outfit Of The Day)

I would have had my leopard flats on, but my little sister apparently STILL has them. hahahaha She even wore them tonight! I was looking for them! It was so funny. She was so proud to be wearing them. I also would have put my brown purse in the picture with me, but I forgot to! I even carried it to church with me. 

"Oh, silly Jessy!" That's what my little sister says to me all the time. I'm always doing weird, goofy things. She says it for just about everything. Everything from me tripping and landing with a thud, to dancing ridiculously. You gotta love family! ;)

"Selfie" Tip: 

If you are taking a picture of your subject up higher, it is WAY more flattering and makes you look smaller. No one looks good when they are looking down into the camera. It creates a double chin effect even if you don't have one, which I do, and that's why this is a fabulous tip! ;)

These pictures aren't the greatest quality because I was in bad lighting. Liz made me look "good" though. She is such a doll!
