Ok, ok. But first, coffee. This top expresses my thoughts about today exactly. Here's a little secret; It's actually a pajama tank top. ;) I saw this pajama set at Walmart that had this shirt paired with cute coffee cup shorts. While the shorts were cute, they were really short, so I ditched those and kept the top. I knew I'd get more wear out of it by wearing it out anyways. They make pajama tops now to where you'd never know that they were meant to be worn to bed! It's pretty magical and I am definitely a fan.
As you very well know, kimonos are my everything in the summer time. Even though it's September, it's still so hot. My kimono has saved me from being overly miserable and still giving me the modesty that I like. It's light and airy enough to be a layer without giving you heat stroke. You can throw them on with anything and it will make it look like you tried a lot harder on your outfit than you actually did.
I apologize for the not so great lighting in the pictures. It just wasn't working with me today! Some days are like that. I thought about not even posting this outfit because of the horrible lighting, but I decided to anyways. You just have to work with what you got and these photos are a true example of that! ;)
Love you all and hope you have a fabulous day!

I've seen loads of cute graphic tees in the pj department. That wouldn't stop me either! When I worked at Lane Bryant, lots of the girls would buy the maxi night gowns and wear them as dresses because they were a lightweight and breathable cotton knit.
ReplyDeleteLove the colorful print on this kimono and how you accented the turquoise with your jewelry. It makes the color pop out of the print! And speaking of coffee? It's just after noon, and I'm off to brew my third cups. Mondays are rough. lol

I never would have thought of wearing gowns, but that is a fabulous idea! Especially since they make some to look like shift dresses. Thanks for your sweet comment! I hate Mondays as well and they always require extra cups of coffee! ;)
