Plus Size OOTD: B+W Pattern Mixing

Good Evening, Lovelies!

First off, please excuse the poorish quality of pictures. It gets dark early, so I just had to make due and take pictures inside. The lighting isn't the best, but hey, a girl just has to use what she's got.

I love this outfit because it's super comfortable while still being cute and warm. I wore this to church tonight and I'm glad I did. I felt very comfortable in it. Our Wednesday night services start at 7:00 PM, so as you can imagine, it's very dark and very cold!

The scarf that I'm wearing is super special to me. It was my Granny's. She passed away a year or so ago. I miss her so much! She was the sweetest person that I know. She still is to this day. I can't explain how beautiful, kind, and special she was. There just isn't enough words. When I wear this scarf, I think of her and it comforts me. It helps me to remember the good times of when she was alive instead of the bad ones when she had to have 24/7 care and different things like that. I feel like I have a little piece of her when I have on that scarf.

On a happier note, I'm still obsessed with pattern mixing. It is one of the funnest things ever! Am I right, fellow pattern mixers? If you're a little nervous by pattern mixing, try just doing it with like colors. Like black and white like I did here. It makes it easier. It's also a little tamer if you're scared to start doing it at first.

Do you like pattern mixing, or does it kind of freak you out? Let me know!
